Thoughts on Islam?

I have a muslim friend (online) and he seem to be quite okay person. As most of them, he is very familiar with religion and has a huge respect for Christianity. However, he does not consider Jesus as son of God, but rather as a prophet, just like Mohamed. So, whenever he speaks of Christ, he must say: Christ, peace be upon him. :D

He explained to me that if you do not follow teaching of Jesus, you are not a true muslim.
